More Flying

This package gives you 9 flights over the three days. You will be launched to a height of 2000ft towed up behind one of our tow planes, we refer to this as a aerotow launch. This will typically provide you with more time in the air flying the glider compared to other launching methods such as winching. It is also a much steadier and gentle method of launching. |
More Knowledge
On each morning of the course your instructor will provide a briefing for the day. This briefing will cover topics such as how the glider fly’s, the effect of the glider’s controls and how to handle the glider on the ground.
Dedicated Glider
Each days one of our club two seat gliders will be dedicated to your course. This will allow you to familiarise yourself with this aircraft and allow you to progress quicker.
Dedicated Instructor
Also during the course, a club instructor will be dedicated to your course. This will allow the instructor to cater better for you or your groups needs. We also only book a maximum of three people on each course to give you more attention
Excellent Location
We are centrally located, close to Banbury and Brackley with easy access from the M40 and M1. On each day of the course hot and cold food will be available to buy on site.
Excellent Local B&B’s
There are some excellent local B&B’s which we can recommend. Your instructor and fellow club members will probably join you for a well-earned beer after a day’s flying.
Bring the family
There's lots to do in the area: historic sites, shopping villages or just enjoying the sun!
