This package is excellent value for those who have always dreamed of becoming a pilot, have an interest in learning to fly, or just want to try something different - perhaps after enjoying a trial lesson. Our ‘Learn to Fly’ Package comprises of:-
• 20 aerotow flights launched to 2,000 ft, with all flying time & instruction included
• 6 months membership of Banbury Gliding Club
• A glider pilot's logbook in which to record your flying progress
• A book introducing you to key aspects of gliding for ground study
This special package is open to people who are not already pilots, and who want more than just one day at the airfield.
On the Learning to Fly package you are treated as a full member of the Club in almost every way, and at the end of the package we'd welcome you to join as a full member.
We realise that flying isn't for absolutely everyone. If within the first three flights, either you or we decide that the package is not for you, the flights you've taken are charged as trial lesson flights, and the balance refunded. After that, we're all committed to flying!
